"This project was all about adding in color of the right kind. We said out with the old earth tones and in with the new soothing blues. A once oversized sectional was reconfigured to a sofa, low back swivel chairs were added for easy TV watching, and a warm rug was brought in to help hide kiddo and pupper stains! The fireplace got a mini facelift when the traditional mantle came down and a rustic replaced it. We enjoyed adding in new fixtures, window coverings, a custom bench cushion, recovered this fun mid century chair and styled this space so that the built-ins really shine."
